Symptoms of COVID-19 infection

Not everyone experiences the same symptoms. And the symptoms can vary in severity.

 

The following symptoms can occur:

• Cough (usually dry)

• Sore throat

• Shortness of breath

• High temperature

• Muscle ache

More rarely:

​

• Headache

• Gastrointestinal symptoms

• conjunctivitis

• Head cold

• Loss of sense of smell and/or taste

​

Complications such as pneumonia are also possible

​

Not everyone with symptoms will be tested for the new coronavirus.

However, if you experience one or more of the above symptoms, there is a high likelihood that you have contracted the new coronavirus.

You must stay at home for at least ten days.
